Registered Nurse
The Critical Care Transport Nurse performs basic life support, advance life support and critical care nursing. The CCT Transport Nurse provides direct patient care to the ill and injured during the transport under the local EMS transport and treatment protocols. The CCT Transport Nurse functions under standing orders of the sending physician or the Shoreline Ambulance Corp. medical director. The CCT Transport Nurse performs assessments, treats, and monitors patients during inter-facility transports.

CCT Respiratory Therapist
Provide critical care and advanced life support related to respiratory care assessment and procedures to patients on the scene, at receiving or referring hospitals, and during critical care transport operations. Understands and practices under the direction of federal, state and local EMS protocols. Provides respiratory assessment and care, assisting the transport team as able and provides patient care report via radio and/or in person to other health care providers as indicated. Respiratory therapist performs the therapy, management, diagnostic evaluation and care of complex patients with unpredictable outcomes which affect the cardiopulmonary system and associated aspects of other system functions being transported by ground ambulance. This position involves the integration of in-depth pathophysiologic concepts and advanced skills along with critical thinking and independent decision making in order to enhance the care of the critically ill or severely injured patient in the unique environment of critical care medical transport.

Emergency Medical Technician
Under Shoreline Ambulance Corp. officers, the ideal Emergency Medical Technician (“incumbent”) will perform duties associated with providing rescue services and emergency medical care to the sick and injured in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Shoreline Ambulance Corp. policies.
